Florida's Green Lodging Program Participant
Radisson Resort at the Port

The Radisson Resort at the Port is proud to be a member of the
Florida Green Lodging Program!

The Florida Green Lodging Program is a voluntary, non-regulatory program designed to acknowledge and reward environmentally conscious facilities in the lodging industry. Each property goes through a step-by-step process set up by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Florida Green Lodging Program. The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has a team of assessors who perform a detailed walk-through of each facility assuring it has met the requirements of the Florida Green Lodging Program. When you stay at a Florida Green Lodging Program participanting property you can expect to see: recycling in guest rooms, the lobby, vending or eating areas; compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL’s) throughout the hotel; low flow toilets, showerheads and faucets; linen and/or towel reuse programs; the use of “green” cleaners and Energy Star rated electronics and appliances. Remember each hotel will have a slightly different program so be sure to ask hotel staff about their “green” practices.
